• SNAP DRAGON is an impressive, tall young mare with all the attributes of a top sport horse prospect. A free, fluid mover with excellent technique and scope through the jump chute, she displays natural balance and athleticism that would suit either the hunters, hunter derby ring or upper-level show jumping. Currently in a professional training program, SNAP DRAGON will have three months of full-time work at the time of sale, including 30+ days under saddle. She is showing tremendous willingness, intelligence,and aptitude for her work. She is naturally bold and forward-thinking; and approaches training with focus and maturity. SNAP DRAGON is a serious prospect for a developing rider, ambitious amateur, or seasoned professional looking to invest in a talented, trainable young horse with the pedigree and potential to go all the way. SIRE: NESQUICK TN is a modern, long-legged stallion known for his exceptional canter, correct conformation,and unlimited scope. His pedigree combines top European bloodlines through his sire ELDORADO VAN DE ZESHOEK TN— who is the epitome of power and scope with not only himself competing at the highest level but so are many of his offspring such as KILLER QUEEN (Daniel Deusser) and GRANDORADO TN (Willem Greve). Nesquick’s dam, WHISKY, adds further depth to his pedigree. She comes from the QUIDAM DE REVEL mother line and is a half-sister to no fewer than five 1.40m+ jumpers. She is also the dam of Skara Glen’s 7 PILLARS, a 1.50m show jumper. Nesquick himself consistently passes on his power, scope, and bold yet willing temperament to his offspring. DAM: ULTRA POPPY VF descends from elite jumper lines on both sides of her pedigree. Her sire, KVF TACORDE, was a consistent performer at the FEI level for six seasons, known for his huge scope and power. TACORDE passes on his excellent canter, impressive scope, and natural desire to jump. Though bred on a limited scale, he has produced several successful sport horses, including Ilana, who competed to 1.50m with her junior rider, along with three licenced sons and a number of other offspring competing successfully at the 1.30m level, all ridden by amateurs. ULTRA POPPY’s dam, NEC PLUS ULTRA, competed to the 1.50m level herself and has proven her value as a broodmare having produced the 1.60m show jumper MESSENGER VF (Monte Bellini), as well as, DELTA VF (Diarado), who is currently competing at 1.45m. ULTRA POPPY consistently stamps her offspring with athleticism, scope, and a strong work ethic—traits clearly visible in SNAP DRAGON.
