On the dam’s side, Visolde descends directly from the damline of the KWPN-approved stallions Dakar VDL and Boss, both of whom were successful at international 1.40/1.45m-level. Granddam Fisolde shares the same dam as both stallions, making her a (half)sister to the 1.40m-level horses Sunsolde and Anisolde as well. In the third generation, this damline -part of the Holsteiner line 2428- continues with the mare Nisolde. She is a half-sister to 1.50/1.60m-level horses Magnum and Candide, and is also listed as the granddam of Malin Baryard’s promising talent CCStud’s Liisolde.
