O. LECLEZIO is a very tall modern gelding that could finish over 17hh. A lovely character that will suit either a junior, amateur or a professional. He’ll be the one everyone looks forward to dealing with. He’s bred to be a jumping horse, but he has 3 good gaits that could easily take him into the world of dressage. He’s taken all the new jobs in stride, whether it be free jumping or getting a bath. Our goal is to breed athletes with wonderful minds and he is a great example. Please contact us if you have any questions. Note: this horse had check ligament surgery as a young foal. The surgeon feels he will go on to have a sport career with no difficulty. Please see the veterinary letter in his health documents. SIRE: WH LUCIANO has both excellent scope and an incredible disposition. His modern type, natural balance, scope, tidiness, and incredible conformation is consistently seen in his talented offspring. As a young horse, WH LUCIANO was the highest-scoring stallion in the CWHBA 2016 Inspection Tour. Now, he is coming off a successful season in the 1.40 m jumpers with Grand Prix potential. He was awarded reserve champion in the 2019 Canadian Warmblood Stallion Approval with an overall jumping index of 113.56 and received very positive reviews from both the jumping & dressage test riders. His sire WH LEADER was imported to Wachter Horses and has sired numerous jr/amateur friendly champions. His dam WH CASCARINA (COR DE LA BRYERE) saw many World Cup ribbons during her career and has since foaled numerous winners. DAM: IOLANNA had a long career in sport taking her junior rider from the 2’6” ring all the way to becoming a competitive 1.20m mount. Her sire IKOON (LIBERO H x NIMMERDOR), is known for producing lovely sport types. He was a Grand Prix show jumper himself and his daughter, ULRIKE R, competed in the 2011 show jumping World Cup Finals.
